We just had an earthquake about 5:40a, John you OK up in Louisville? Man I thought I left all this behind me when I left the bay area of Ca. in 1980. I know we sit on one of the biggest faults in America but they just aren't that common here.

Looks like the epicenter was 45 miles west of Evansville, In. in Il somewhere. 5.4

Felt it here in Indy too. At first I just thought it was the wind from a thunderstorm, but the house was shaking way too much. Lasted longer than I thought one would. No damage or anything in our neck of the woods.

Quakes make mine shrivel up - especially when on the 16th (or so) floor of a hotel.

'Hope there's no damage or personal injury to anyone here (or to anyone at all for that matter).

Things were rocking and rolling here near St. Louis, we got a good amount of the energy. At first I thought I was dreaming, then I grabbed the wall and realized everything was moving.

I felt it all the way down here in Albany, KY near the TN line! It was around 4:41 when it woke me up shaking the he!! out of my bed! I thought it was a tornado and run to the front door only to look out and hear nothing and see that there was not one bit of wind. :hmmm: I didnt know what was going on.

The "Aftershock" was a 4.5 magnitude, sheesh.
