I went hunting at a wrecking yard today. I called to see if they had a granada/monarch, was told they did and that it had a 9" in it. They said I could have it for $125, so out the door I ripped. After driving some 50 miles to get there they put the car up on the rack. Now thanks to you guys here on this forum I learnd how to tell the differance between an 8" and a 9". To make a long story short it was, you guessed it an 8". But at least it wasn't a total waste of time as the car had the front disc set up still in the car. I got the whole disc set up ( spindal, rotors, calipers and even the master cylender and prop valve ) for $100. I even snooped around and found a 3.8 toraus (sorry about spelling) electric fan for $15 and it even works ( thanks to the thread that tells what to look for). I will use the fan on my 72 mav and keep the disc set up for a future mav.
