Well guys, I know you've been on the edge of your seats the last couple of weeks wondering what happened with my power steering :). So anyways, I fixed it. After a new high pressure line, a new power steering pump, new rack end seals, a complete flush of the system, a thorough cleaning of the reservoir screen , a couple new O-Rings, a boatload of RTV sealent, and my own little special modifaction to the fluid control valve in the pump, the problem is fixed. Power steering is working perfectly and it didn't make noise or cavitate for even a fraction of a second after I started it up this time. Gotta give myself a pat on the back for this one, it had me stumped for a while there :).

Glad to hear you got it working great. Good Job. But just out of curiosity, why did you just not go with manual steering? My mav has manual steering with a 302 and 215s up front and it steers really nicely and easily. I always found the power steering to be pretty numb. Why not Manual?

    I think...

...he is referring to his Celica?

Is that right? Seems like that is what
we were talking about here around
    3-4 weeks ago.

Yeah, Seth is right, it's my '91 Supra Turbo, don't hate me for owning a Toyota though :). Actually I own two Supras. One of them is soon to be going bye bye though.
