Grabbers with Standard Transmissions

My old '72 Grabber had a floor shifted, 3 spd manual transmission, Did any MY Grabbers have column shifted manuals?

 

my 71 grabber has a column shifted 3 speed

 

"3 on the tree" was an option for mavericks

i thought grabbers were standard floor shift, auto or manual?

 

My 72 grabber was column shift manual 302 from factory

 

Thanks. I've seen a lot of floor shifter manuals and auto's and some column shifted auto's, but no "three on the tree" in Grabbers specifically. I've seen plenty of them in standard Mavericks.

 

The 3 speed on the column was the standard transmission any other ( Auto on column or floor or the floor mounted 3 speed ) was an upgrade

 

actually "3 on the tree" was the standard equipment for these cars. any type of floor shifter, whether it be auto or stick, was optional..... no matter if it was a Grabber or not

 

Does anyone have a 3 speed manual on the floor with a bench seat?

 

My first Comet (non-GT, the white one below) was a bench seat/floor shift/V8 car.
