What is the correct distance from hood edge and cowl edge to outside hood stripe? How about distance from hood scoop? Distance between center sections and between center sections and outside hood stripe? We have them laid out, just want to check and double check. Thanks, Sarah
When we used the stencil kit from Graphic Express, it would only fit a certain way between the scoops, so we went with that, and I've compared it to other Grabber hoods I've seen (original and repainted) and it close enough, I can measure it for you tomorrow.
Thanks! I have a Graphics Express decal that I can use to line it up. The decals I am using are custom ones from Lonnie. I just want to make sure everything is as perfect as I can make it(probably better than factory!). Sarah
I matched the curve of the stripe to match the curve of the hood around the scoops on each side. Space it the same as the spacing on the straight parts of the hood/stripe. Seemed to place it just right.
Can someone take a picture of their hood from up above? All of the pictures from the side/front that I can find don't seem to show the overall layout well. Thanks! Sarah
Potentially dumb question, but other than the split middle, are the 72 and 73 stripes the same outside diameter? Great picture by the way. Thanks!
73 never came with those hoods, but as far as I can tell 71 & 72 are the same diameter. Other than one year was a decal, and one was painted. ( I didn't take the pic, Seth did)

Yes it is! It is looking good, the paint came out very nice. The stripes are laid out on it right, just have to stick them on. I will post pictures.
