I am planning on going back to Farmington Dragway this coming Friday to participate in the test 'n tune. A couple of my friends are going, one in a 2007 F150, one in a 1998 Honda, and one in a 2005 Mustang GT. My goal is to break into the 8's, last time I ran a 9.09. I'll report back once on Friday or Saturday, it should be fun.

Enjoy yourself. Try to keep the front wheels on the ground. Starting to cool off so you should go a little faster.:)

Well, I'm back, and I had a blast. I didn't reach my goal of the 8's, but I did beat my dad in his 2005 Mustang GT 3 times, so I am happy anyway. My best time ended up being a 9.05 at 78 MPH. I will get some videos posted later.

That just made me grin. I used to love trying to beat my Dad at anything...and he, me. It's been a long time. I miss him. He passed away 8 years ago.

I'll be heading down to farmington dragway pretty soon myself. I love racing there in the fall when it cools off. It's a great track. Only I won't get to bring my maverick. It's still torn apart awaiting a rollcage among other things. May bring my dad's 63 falcon and race it though. We usually go to the footbrake nationals every year. Maybe I'll see ya there.

Glad you had fun. Especially with your dad. Those moments are special. Only you don't realize how much yet. :thumbs2:
