just got back from antique drags at barona drag strip.

    Had a geat time. took my wife, she rode along on the runs. met another member from the board here. the car ran well i cut some awsome times on the tree. first run was a 9.2 at 80 mph witha .5 reaction time. second rur was a 9.3 at 79 mph with a .07 reaction time, and third run with out the wife in the car was a 8.8 at 82 mph with a .004 reaction time.
    over all had a great time, lots of cool cars, i what the only mav on the property. tomarrow there should be pics on line, Ill find them and post them.

    It was a cool race. It was nice to meet you and see your car run. You're car ran real strong. I'll bring my car next time.

    What about a Maverick drag day at one of the So.Cal. tracks???:drive:

    I think my Mav still holds the SLOW e.t. on this board:rofl:

    Ok, I checked, but I think the two guys slower then me are sand baggin:rofl2:. A 'Stang Cobra runnin 13's in the 1/8 and a mav running over 30 sec.

    I had to work hard at going that slow.:yup: I wuz gonna do a burn out, but all I got was fan belt squeal:rofl:. I tried to power brake and couldn't find the power;). My reaction time was great, but the Mav said "No Way":naughty:.

    The bad part was the sweeper truck had a better 60 ft time then I did:rofl2:.
