TV Land was just running the old tv show. It is full of Mavericks and Comets. I just watched one where Hutch stumbled into the street and almost got hit by a big bumper Comet GT.

Cool watching old shows like that, seeing older cars in the background! I was watching the Starky & Hutch a few weeks ago, and had seen a Maverick in it as well.

Curious to see with the movie coming out if it will have any Mavericks or Comets in it?

Neal, the sad thing is there are some on here that remember the show when it was new aired once a week, and then there are those on here that may have only seen the reruns. :D

Which category do you fall in?

Just returned from seeing the movie. Loved it. I looked for mavs but didnt see any at all. Really freaky but when we walked out of the theater right in in road and turning in to park was starsky and hutch torino, an original one. People were freakin out, It was soooo cool. They parked and were going in to see the movie.

At the meet that I had here last year the Starsky and Hutch club was in town. I think they ended up haveing almost 13 of the original Starsky torino's, they went on a cruise later are it was pretty cool to see them all roll down riveriside with the sirens going and lights on...

And Dave nothin but reruns for me :D

Yes I recommend the movie is you want a no brainer with lots of good laughs, it is done well and has a good story. I am a huge fan of the original series and it was great to see Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul in the cameo appearance they make in the show.

    Neal! :D

Dan thanks for movie review! :D

Anybody read the article about the Starsky & Hutch vehicles and the making of the movie? It was interesting to read that the car was never that much of a performance car to begin with, considering how heavy those cars were etc. I read about it about a month ago or so, and can't remember all the details, but I guess they went through quite a few cars in just making the movie with the all the stunts etc.

was the article the one in hot rod called
    Return Of The Striped Tomato
cause if it was i read it it's hard to beleive that the cars from the original series had so little power i figured the would at least give the cars a little more power like they did with the Genearl Lee
