I was wondering if anyone would be interested in having a Video Page for everyone to post videos of our cars. You know like Racing, new mods,Burnouts, listening to a new engine,ect.ect. These would be Maverick/Comet related Clips ONLY. I don`t know alot about what is involved other than it DOES use a lot of web space. But maybe we could post only Links to clips that we have stored elsewhere on the net. I dont mean to create more work for Stefan. He does more than enough for us all as it is by maintaining this site! I would possibly be willing to make a Video page on my little site but I must warn that I have VERY limited internet / host knowledge... and its a miracle to me that I was even able to create my site in the first place! lol What do you all think ? By the way my site link is below.
the videos are big and bandwidth would be way up there need a server with a big hard drive then best to set a time like after 60 days there removed
Stephan said he would do that a month or two ago...lets hit him up with it again. What do you think Stephan??
The video section is still up http://www.maverick.to/videos/ Bandwidth and space would not be a problem, unless the files are huge(100+megs). I have a lot of room and bandwidth at cybermaverick.net so I could host some of them there as well. Im in the process of restoring my files onto my new computer, so once I finish that, I can set up the video section. Im having serious trouble restoring e-mail and hope to have that done by this weekend. If you film it, I will host it!
You da man!!!!!! Ever consider flying down to the Roundup? Besides having a blast, there are alot of us who would personally like to thank you for the work you do here.
Stefan ,Thats great Thanks Alot ! Ok ya`ll lets get busy with those Videos. Stephen Moore, I never get tired of that video pretty sick huh? lol
Im definetly going to come to another round up in the near future. I have not seen another Maverick besides my own in long time!
Oh ya.... the lobster effect. Since then, I have been very carefull and always apply sunscreen(in the shade) before stepping out for such events.
I just had the pleasure of meeting Stefan last week while the wife and I were in Montreal, and I can say that he comes across in person as every bit as much a genuinely nice guy as he does here on the board. As Dennis said, you da man, Stefan!
