    1973 2dr Maverick 302c my other car got stolen!!
    i was taking apart my engine this morning(got up early becuse i thought i had to go to school)so i just started to work on my car well get to the point...Who ever had the car befor me switch it from a fuel injected to a carborated engine with wrong size gaskets and manifolds so i proll have to take my hole engine apart to check it or buy a freaking new crate engine..:D but been looking at getting a edelbrock 351 in trick it out with some trickflow addon's..:D but all together today sucks i am going to put it back together and just ride it out tell i get the money or get my friends LT1...That he dosnt want anymore..

    So give me yall's opinion on what i should do!

    I don't quite understand??

    Why would you have to take the whole engine out for that???

    The only gaskets that may be different would be the intake to engine gaskets, replace those and you're ready to go.

    Who ever it was put a small gaskey on it and when i took out my distrib i found that there was some rust and dirt then i un bolted the manifold and looked around there sprayed some carb cleaner then some oil lubercent autozone told me to use and i have grim and dirt all in there , i am not good at engines but i know that isnt supose to be there...and plus i can get a new engine now that i have a reason to
