i inherited this car from my friend and mentor Richard Garn. he ran the big winter swap meet at the mich. state fair grounds until his passing in 1999. he was a big ford fanatic had a couple of limited cars like my mav. and a 1966 or 67 fairlane thunderbolt.
he also was the owner of the big speed shop in lima ohio in the late 60"s early 70"s

yeah, the boss motor had a cross boss intake, a close ratio top loader with rock crusher gears and 6.00 gears out back in the 9 inch rear end. just to name a few things. all i ended up with was the 6.00 gears and the nine inch rear end. he thought i would kill myself if i had the boss and 4 speed. and he did all this without hacking the car up. no roll cage either. scary huh

I am guessing you are referring to the artwork on my Myspace page... I wish I could take credit for it but I found it on a website that lets you download/upload backgrounds/codes for your Myspace Page... Absolutely a Maverick with a real BOSS engine would rock the streets and rattle the 1/4 miles as well... Which ever way you go with it good luck on the project.... Gotta be pretty cool owning a special order Maverick

you know i never really knew how rare my car was until i joined the forum but now that i do it makes me that much more motivated to get it done so i can share it with everybody else at the meets and drag strip. hope to have it done by spring early summer.
