    Hi all,

CJs Mustang parts is running a screamin' deal on 65-68 Mustang gas tanks. This is the 16 gallon tank with a drain, and they are throwing in a fuel sending unit and assorted hardware and neck gasket for free ... all for $79.95

    http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb.dll?Parta~PartSort~A3~~~~~A40~A31

If you go back one page, they also have the larger later-year tanks too at some OK prices.

This is just Saturday and Sunday only.

I have bought from them a couple of times and they seem to have their act together. Fast shipping, too.

    Mods,
If you feel the need to move this, go ahead. I posted here on the main board because of the short time frame and a lot of guys seem to be interested in this swap.

If you missed this, get on CJs mailing list. They repeat some of their promos pretty often. If this one worked for them, you might see it again soon.

Are you saying the '65-'68 Mustang gas tanks fit early model Mavericks?

With modifications to the car and Mustang tank they can be used in 71 and later Maverick/Comet.

Does anyone have the dimensions of the Mustang gas tanks so I can compare it to my '70 gas tank?
    Thanks

My tank showed up today:bananaman. That along with the floor pans means I now have my winter project parts ready. Read ALL of the comments about the tank install before you buy though. Some members have used the 20 gallon tank. I read the tech article before I ordered my tank then read the comments afterwards. HMM I could have had a 20 gal tank.
