The blower appears to be mounted upside down. I am not familiar with these blowers so forgive the stupid question, but how is the lubrication for the gears configured in these blowers? Is there a sump in the front with enough lube to splash cool the gears or is it an oil supply from the motor type of configuration? Is there still adequate lubrication if it is mounted upside down instead of in its normal configuration?
It looks weird but the blower is mounted right side up. The air goes in through the back then compressed and out through the top then on to the intercooler. The SC T-Birds mounted them that way. Newer ones send the compressed air out the bottom where the liquid to air intercooler is sandwiched between the blower and intake manifold. Stock SC T-bird set ups look really inefficient.
