Hi everyone Back in 1973 my dad used to drive a 4 door white with blue interiors Maverick, same year that I was born, in 1983 he got rid of the car but after 35 years I decide to find a 73 Maverick, couple of weeks of internet searching in local sites I found my own Maverick... ready with Puerto Rico Classic Vehicle Tag, hope you guys like it. And thanks for all the info that is available in this nice forum, very helpful.
This is too funny. Dennis, Craig and Shawn of the MCCI may remember that a couple of years ago I told them the story of me trying to flag a guy down in Aguadilla, my wife's hometown in Puerto Rico, driving a brown Maverick-what is likely now your car. I used to take blank MCCI membership applications with me when I was visiting Puerto Rico, to recruit members. This guy passed me in front of the Aguadilla Mall. I was driving a rental car, not a Maverick or Comet, so he paid me no mind. I caught up with him, and tried to wave him over to talk to him and give him an application. He waved me off and shook his fist at me! He probably thought that I was a nut! It was a VERY nice looking car. I am sure that was it. Congrats on the purchase.
