answer from: crown victoria custom grille

What material do you use ?

pieces or slit cut from sheet of aluminum
Just make vertically cut at lift & right
& insert the slit then but some epoxy and wait until dry
    then paint it

along the epoxie idea, I used JB Weld and a small piece of sheet metal to back up and strengthen the plastic lower dash cover. It should work on your grill too

eastwood company has a kit for fixing plastic parts on your car. and I remember seeing a video on their website a while back showing how to fix a plastic grill.

Did it break from impact or did it just start falling apart from weathering - UV exposure ?

Plastics start to break down over time and conditions and if you fix all the broken spots, you will be real mad if it just continues to fall apart. If it is from impact, go ahead and see if you can repair it. But if it just started breaking apart from its age - look for a decent one on ebay or put a wanted ad in the classifieds. (y)

Acornridgeman - It's just falling to pieces due to old age and exposure. I can't fix it - so I'm going to buy a new one or try to make a new one.

If anyone knows of a custom grill place, send me the info, please.
    Thanks again!
