Where and how do I Install a Temperature gauge on my 302?

I just successfully installed new discs and break pads in the front of my Maverick… I had a great time greasing up the bearings…. And a hell of a time installing the calipers…. Just a side question here…. What grease, is good grease for the bearings and spindles?

Special hi temp made for the application.
The sender bulb replaces the electric temp sender at the front of the intake manifold.

The thing I don’t understand is, where does the temperature sensor go?

njnjtek; sensor goes into the intake manifold, in the front, about 4" behind the thermostat housing, on the drivers side. Hope you can understand that...getting old. If you are installing a mechanical gauge, you will lost the idiot light, unless you have a switch for that. I have a SUN gauge, and it works great. Hope this helps you some.

Maybe this will help, remove the old electrical one from here and install your new one in the same place...make sure you use some thread sealer when you do
