Laugh all you want because I know it's hella stupid question but if I upgrade my brakes to granda discs which are 5 lug I would have to get new rims right?

yes if you have the four lug pattern now you will need new rims.
and no i wont laugh because ever question needs answering.
i have had several questions that should have been common sense that i just never knew...so any question you have dont be afraid to ask it.

    adapters

if I'm not mistaken I think there are 5 to 4 lug adapters maybe if you can find, I think I remember people using them for VW's or something. Not 100% sure but maybe someone else knows.

you should be able to buy some cheap steal wheels for less than the cost of the adaptors

so I just realized, I can't do my front disc brake conversion. Otherwise I'll have 5 lug in the front and 4 lug in the back!

the only difference that will make is...you will need 2 spares untill you get the 5 lug rear...or...drive it in hopes you don't have a flat on the front...50/50...:thumbs2:

I seem to recall Dennis (Mavaholic) is working on putting together a 4-lug disc brake swap kit.

time to find cheap rims then I guess. see, I never thought about that when I was planning my disc brake swap, it's not sure the cost of swap but gotta factor in the rims!! Ahhh, older and wiser . . . well, definitely older!
