Memphis Area Meet

Hey guys,

I'm thinking this would be a little ways off, in the springtime probably, but might get a better turnout of we start planning now.

I know there's a bunch of us in the area, at least enough to come together in a parking lot, shake hands and check out some cars...


What do y'all think? Maybe when Memphis Motorsports Park opens back up we could get together for a Test 'N Tune?

Or just park in the lot next to Must Island Park and get some nice pics with the river and the bridge in the background?

Go invade the parking lot at the big Auto Zone on Summer, then head across the street and tear up some ribs at Central Barbecue?

Any other ideas?

lol i had already been thinkin about somethin like that.....and im really hoping mines back on the road when then turns up...if i can just get a little help it wouldnt take me very long...

 

Memphis would be close to me as well, especially if it falls on a weekend I may be headed to the casino

 

What about over here in west Alabama? I'm going to be trying to get something together for late spring or early summer. Memphis is only about 2.5-3 hours away....

 

im on the north side of nashville so memphis is within driving distance from me....

 

Yeah, I'd enjoy getting to meet anybody who wants to make the drive. And if it's an overly long drive for someone, I think I could arrange crash space at my house for 1-2 people.

I'd love to go to a west AL meet too...

 

Memphis is 4 1/2 hours from me. That's do-able assuming my car will pass a shake down test to Tulsa or somewhere

 

Bob, you gonna bring the car with the roller paint job? I would really like to see that!

cmon guys lets make this a big turnout. its gonna be my first mav meet (assuming i'll be able to make it)

 

Get at least 8 people to promise to show up, and an exact date, time and place nailed down, and I'll try to come.

 

I live in North Alabama. It would only take me about 4hrs to get there. My Maverick isn't currently running but I guess I could come anyway....

 

Dave and Todd could possibly make it also... so that adds 2 more.

Just depends on what their racing and work schedule is
