Lever Type Object Under Parking Brake

    Does anyone know what this is?

    It was on the 74' LDO I looked at. It was a little cable driven lever of some sort. Was directly under the parking brake. Here's a picture of it. Looks like just a dot on the brake peddle in this photo.

    On a car with A/C? That's what I thought it might be, but my 73 doesn't have them...

    I have seen cars with factory AC and a vent.....but only one.

    Seems like if it was the vent....it would be closer to the outside of the car. Maybe it is a hood release?

    Follow up:

    I went and looked at the pictures of that car on ebay. NOT Factory AC. Dealer installed air. I will stick with my original conclusion: Air Vent.

    you know i still cant find the swith for my flux capacitor....i thought i had but turns out it was the the activation for the continuem transfunctioner

    It is the switch that starts the supercharger ... ala "Mad Max" ... :D
