Dont get me wrong i havent even tryed to put it in yet ,but i will just thought if someone else has done it it might help me along. cheers Jimmy
Jimmy; It can be done........and has. My car has a T5, and I really love it. You need to get a late model bell housing, a clutch cable or hydraulic set up, and a crossmember to accept the T5. I recommend Mustang Steve cable kit from Ebay. Mine went in well, and works fine. The T5 is larger than the smaller tunnel on the 69.5. You will have to work the brace under the tunnel, and cutting it and reinforcing it will help. You just have to make the clearance for the trans to go there. It is tight! The stock drive shaft should work ok, as I used mine without modifications. If you need pedals, get Mav or Comet pedals. Just easier than modding Mustang stuff. If you need any more info, pm me and I can get pics or help any way I can. Take care, Earl
i have a t5 (1994 mustang) on my maverick, mustangsteve.com 1967 mustang cable clutch swap kit, 8.8 rear end from a 89' GT mustang. the driveshaft fit with no modifications.
