Anyone semi-local to Houston going to the Meet this year?

I am trying to buy a transmission from Lance and was going to drive up and get it, but just found out I needed new radiator, shocks and ball joints on my truck, and had to spend all my travel money on the parts.

is anyone within 12 hours of Houston going to the meet this year? If so, would you be willing to bring the tranny back with you?

I will fairly compensate and drive to your home to pick it up if you can do this for me.

 

Lance must have one hell of a Tranny, for you to drive all that way.

 

No, just a good price and I NEED a new tranny.

Besides, the wife and I LOVE to do road trips for stuff like this. All we need is an excuse to make the drive (we have no kids...for whatever THAT is worth).

 

I miss the days of those road trips...I'm just getting too old, and too grumpy.

Housten isn't all that far from Joplin, if youare willing to travel 12 hours to pick it up, Joplin is just 1 McDonald's away from 12 hours. let me mapquest it
