Are the instrument clusters on the mavericks interchangeable through out the years. I know they fit but I looked through my shop manuals and did not find any wiring diagrams which would tell me whether or not the wiring was different. I know that depending on the year the warning lights were in difference locations.

yep there is :p that is why i am changing the bottom part of the instrument panel. you guys with the pre '77 have nice gauges with the silver backing hehe mine will too. The older ones went up to 120. The '77s only go to 85 but have the kilometers. The newer ones look dull. My interior ought to look sharp when i am done. I am repainting it with a dark metallic blue (does not have all the green added in that the '77 "blue" interiors had). The dash pad I took off and I have a black one to replace it. Then I redid my seats, head linner and seat belts(black). Then I put in new black carpet. The deck that is in the car is black. All the vinyl weatherstripping is black. This black on blue interior really has a sharp sporty look to it! I can't wait till its done.
