    Does anyone repop new chrome bumpers for a
    71 Maverick? My 71 is at the paint shop now
    won't be long till she is back on the road.

    No one makes repop bumpers for Mavs or Comets. You options are good used or rechome. (y)

    Were can you get rechromed? How much does it cost? and do they have a can you can use if they dont that would be a good invention :yahoo:

    the cost for rechroming bumpers varies at different locations, like norcal cost a lot more than having it done on socal for instance.

    Good luck. I asked my friend that builds race cars if he ever heard of Killer chrome. He said if it comes in a spray can he would not trust it. His last chrome paint cost about $250 a quart, I believe he said. Let us know how it works out. :)

    My Falcon bumpers cost $300 each to have rechromed.

    Is that Killer-Chrome for indoor/climate controlled use only?

    i read the instructions as to say: sand, prime, paint, clear, chrome and clear again...:whew:
