Only every time I have ever put it in a show...which is a lot. :) It's actually gotten to be pretty funny.

I always hear "Pinto". Or they even see it's a Maverick and they still talk about the Pinto their friend or sister or whoever had. I'm sure it's the headlights. I'm gonna take the upper bend out of the headlight trim and carry the chrome across the hood right at the break, straight across, and roll the hood lip under just so I don't have to ever hear "Pinto" again. Like this:

Right after I win the lottery, and have lots of time.

That makes it look more like a '71-'73 Mustang...in a way.

One gorgeous Sunday mornin, about 8:30. I was in a do it yourself car wash and this guy drives up behind the car and Yells " Nice 67 Charger bud". I walked to the back of the car and said " thanks for the compliment but it's a Ford Maverick-72". He just looked at me , then the car and drove off. I just about died laughing.Like every1 else, called nova, camaro, and most lately a PINTO. eeeeeeeeeeeee.TTFN Ron:D

My father in law seemed surprised that I owned a Comet because "he had one and it didn't look like that". He thought it was a Maverick.
