Just saw a really nice 1972 Maverick in the junkyard, Ecology in Rialto. 302 automatic, coupe, perfect hood, fenders, doors, small bumpers. Everything is there as of today, March 25th. Rear valance was the only thing that was damaged, maybe the grill was broken too. Rust free dent free sheetmetal, bumpers good to go as-is. One of you other Inland Empire guys should scoot out there before the weekend. Half price days April 4th and 5th, won't last that long though. One of these days I need to smuggle in a digital camera, you guys in the rust belt won't believe what gets recycled.
you guys in the rust belt won't believe what gets recycled. dont tease us or we will come over and buy up all your good cars and you will be left with all the rice racers brad
Its just not fair. Our cars get crushed because they are so rusty they arent safe anymore. However we do have tobogganing, ice fishing and snow mobiles. I'd like rust free cars but I would miss my ice fishing.
How do you clean an Ice fish? Better to batter and deep fry or fillet and broil? We have those winter sports too, but you would have to drive 3 or 4 hours. Not sure about the Ice fishing though. We also have fun in the sun nearly year round. Just came from Spring Break in Lake Havasu, the college girls wear stars instead of bikini tops.
Got the bumpers and hood....this car shouldn't be in the wrecking yard. The seats look like they had just been recovered very nice. Now with the hood I can make the Mach I hood that I want
