Hey whats going on everyone. New member here.. Well my name is Miguel and Im 26.. I have a 77 Mercury Comet 4dr i6 and I've done a little here and there nothing big. I have been looking for a site like this for a long time and have found it!! So Im here! I am looking for some parts to work on my car little by little and Im sure I can get some usefull help from you guys. I hope to be able to help on some questions as well some time. Thanks.

So true, everyone has so many good ideas at times it makes you doubt your original idea but mine hasn't changed yet, trying to keep it simple, strong, economical, and easy to fix. Mechanic prices are skyrocketing and how the economy is now, i wouldn't be able to afford a mechanic, most electronic parts, and other parts that a person needs to repair newer cars. $80 just to pull the codes here in austin, everyone knows codes is just to help you get started. I don't need codes pulled from my maverick, everything is so straight to the point. two main questions: Is there fuel delivery and is there spark?

 

Im located in Electra, close to Wichita Falls and near Oklahoma. My car is as my parents place in Houston because we moved here not too long ago and just waiting on bring it up here with me. So my dad is enjoying it right now .. Ill upload some pics on a free photo place and share with you guys. Anyone close to me?

Used to live in Wichita Falls. Man, that is a LONG way away from here...Used to drive back and forth from Houston when the speed limit was 55. Took almost 12 hours.
