Ok folks so ,you all know about the many topics we have had here about rear window louvers for a comet or a maverick . Well i have wanted 2 sets for a long time and no one seems to be able to manufacture any for a reasonable price . Well to make a long stoy short, i have had a long term bussiness relationship with Cid Martin of Champion Cooling Radiators who produced the first genaration maverick/comet rad and in two weeks the second genaration rad will be available.. BACK TO THE LOUVERS, i took it apon my self to send Cid the blueprints that Ray(Rayzorsharp) sent me and asked him if his sources in China that make the rads could build them ,he said i cant see why not ,so Cid and I are looking to have them manufactured in Aluminum or Carbon fiber for 350.00 dollars and maybe less . My question now is how many here would be interested in a brand new rear window louver in Aluminum or carbon fiber for around 350.00 bucks or less . This is a real offer that can be done with the same quality as the rads. cheers Jimmy P.S this would be a exclusive to this forum only and may be a 1 or 2 run only item.

I'd be interested in the lowest priced version.... Probably the aluminum.... Would the aluminum be in black?

Hey Coop ,im not sure ,that wasnt discussed ,this will be several months to a proto type .This was just discussed a few days ago . Both Cid and i will take it as far as a proto type and a cost per unit ,i think it will work out ,fingures crossed.Im just interested in a number count to see the real interest .Im shooting for 70 or more.

I don't think that's gonna happen Jimmy. I think you'll be hard pressed to get 20 committments. Good luck though

This would be in U.S dollars and the quality would be great as were the Aluminum rads so will these.
