    Well i added shackles and bigger tires in the back....New shocks,New stance. After about six months of owning the car i got tags for it also pictures included

    car looks good, but i'd ditch the shackles. they're unstable at best.

    My '69.5 had the exact same shackles on it when I bought it. They made the car drive like crap and the rear frame rails were trashed.

    Correct way to raise the rear would be get some new leaf springs or have your old ones re arched.

    Looks like someones working on it. But I don't see you in the picture to verify it.:D J/K Looks good but the shackles need to go. I've got them on my Comet and they're going soon, I promise.:)

    Thanks everybody ill get the shackles off..Glad yall told me.And yeah the wheels are just temporary till i can come up with some cragars

    I have a brand new set of shackles still in the box. I seen the guys talk about how bad they are so I never put them on. I saved up and got the 4 leafs and new shocks and I feel much better doing that now that I see it coming together back there. I used to have the air shocks too, never filled to the max tho. That was also a no no so now it's all good. Now you know :cool:

    Looks like you could've achieved the same look with new leafsprings. those things look straight as an arrow.

    Well they say you only can go to shows and to get it worked on and you cant have a hod rod engine and a bunch of crap but i dont think they are to strict i just got the tag today..though

    I work off of Bonny Oaks and Jersy Pike. Never got into and trouble with the law but was just wondering if anyone else did.
