    The engine is a 1975. Came out of a econoline style van. I have contacted MSD I have got 1 answer for a yes and 1 answer for a no. The distributor on there right now is the female socket type also.

    yes it will fit on your distributor. if yours is a points dist. you will have to up grade the wires, and it may hit your air filter housing.
