What are using for bushings and shackles? I have a set coming and there's been some reports of stock sized bushings not fitting properly. Any help is always greatly appreciated.:tiphat:

I had a problem with the eyelets on the first set I bought. Turns out they sent the wrong springs.

Mine were fine. I bought them back in March of 06. Seems like I have read of some on-and-off problems with getting the right ones sent out in recent years.

I would guess that if you told them to measure the bushing holes before they sent them, you would get the right ones the first time.

Not sure if it made a difference that I bought the 4-leaf "heavy duty" set...

Do you have a confirmed ship day? or a time frame they should ship in?

Do you remember what the eyelet is supposed to be?

They say right now the expected ship date is April 13th.

Asking about an eyelet size wouldn't do much good with JCW, they drop ship their springs from John R Spring. John R Spring still doesn't have our springs in - they are still waiting to get them.

John R Spring still doesn't have our springs in - they are still waiting to get them. JCW always pushes the date out by one month if they don't ship. After 3 months they drop the order. I just called an renewed my order on Monday. It had expired for the second time (the order was placed in November).

Sorry. When I bought mine, this was not as much of an issue as it is now, and I just ordered, got them a week later, and installed them. Correct fit, no hassle.

It sounds like those days are gone for the current time...

Yes, I think so - atleast for a little while. John R can't get the springs, that means JCW can't drop ship them.

I have gotten 2 sets of springs from them. The first set was for my Sprint and here is a thread about the over sized eyelet:

The second set I got for my Comet GT and they have not been installed yet but they appear to be the correct size.
