I'm new to the maverick cars. What do you need to make a V8 swap from a 6cyl. car? I'm looking at a car to buy its a 6cyl automatic. I would like to make it a manual too. Is it hard to find pedals and hardware to do that?

Frame mounts(can be made pretty easily or stolen from a mustang!)
    Trans crossmember for dual exhaust
    Headers or manifolds and exhaust.
    you should replace the radiator
    Throttle cable
    Proper oil pan
I did the auto to manual swap but found a donor car years and years ago so I don't know availability of pedal assy. I did a hydraulic clutch later. If you don't do that you need a z bar. I recommend against the z bar linkage clutch set-up. convert to a cable or hydraulic, you'll be happier in the long run.
