    I have a prob, i have a late model 5.0 goin in with my "stock" c4. what junkuard flywheel can i use? i know all the blah blah 50oz this that. what works without me having to call summit again?

    There really isnt any other choice but to call summit. 157-tooth 50oz. balance flexplate was not a factory part. Aftermarket only.Its only $100

    157 50oz came on later trucks and broncos...and others. not sure if they fit c4 tq converter though

    There never was a 157 tooth-50 oz/in factory flexplate. It's an aftermarket only item. To find one of these in a junkyard would be from shear luck.

    All the AOD equipped 5.0's had 164 tooth flexplates.

    :D You are. No ifs, ands or buts about it. The C4 was killed before the switch to the 50 oz/in cranks came about. The early 80's C-5's had 164 tooth bells as did all the AOD's. So, there's no O.E. application for a 157 tooth, 50 oz/in flexplate. There were in flywheels with the T-5.
