I need to order one. I am ordering just the housing and axles. What width do I order.

Housing - flange to flange width?

the disc brakes I have are for 2.5 offset

Axle - flange to flange width?

Can they mount the spring perches the same as the early mustangs?

Soo, if the stock 8" is 51.25" housing end to end, add 2.5" to each end brings it to 56.25. so do I need to add anything more for axle flange thickness or would the width I need be 56.25?

    Housing width flange to flange.
Axle width flange to flange.(this will give your offset)
Center to center spring perch distance.
Amount of pinion offset from center.
These dimensions will get you a proper length axle housing for your application.

The stock width this company makes for the suspension I am looking at is 51.5 housing flange to flange and 56.5 axle flange to flange. This does not include rotor thickness. Once I add rotors will this be too wide? How much should they shorten it. Does anyone have any actual measurements from a stock rear they may have ordered?

It would help to know what vehicle you're putting this in.
