    Just wanted to let you all know...the Comet is running... we did the maiden run today... Granted we still have lots to do like changing out the rear end... Thinking 4:11's. Still need to do more work... but it was pretty nice to move her with out having to drag the family out to push it...

    Sierra Grabber... Just wanted to let you know.. that I need to get the 4:11's to slow her down... as the 4 speed is really a 3 speed with an overdrive and the original 2:79's... If I keep her like she is... need to run her on the Salt Flats... Phil

    4.11's are a bit steep for a street car, even with overdrive. Around 3.55 or 3.70 would probably be the best.

    Congrats on getting it running!

    The tranny is a 3 speed with an overdrive, not an every day driver... just a fun car... and only going to drive 200-300 miles in any direction. I think it will fine with 4:11's. Thanks, Phil
