    I've got a 1965 Mecury Comet Caliente.

    If it makes you feel better, I like the older comets much better than the "new" ones...:outtahere::hide:

    You should be able to get some help here, there are a few older comet owners, and many of us have worked on or with them.

    Ya you can hang out here, with out the 1st gen comet we would not have the 2nd gen comet. It's still a ford product, I belong to a mustang club and don't own a mustang anymore.

    For specific info on your car, look up 'Comet East' or 'Comet West'.
    They have info for you. I have a friend who has restored a '65
    Caliente and a '65 Cyclone. Hard parts to find for those models!
