Thought I'd jump in and say hi. Names Rob, and I'm in Palmetto FL. I bought my first Maverick yesterday! Well I actually bought the car for my 16 year old son, and suddenly find myself getting into this whole "old car" thing again. I'm liking it so much. The new car is a '76 2 door with a 250 and a C4. It's in pretty good shape body wise, and has a newer paint job, although they did paint over some rust in a few areas. The interior is in fair shape, but it has newer upholstery on the seats, and doors, and a newer headliner. The engine seems to be in fair shape, but it's missing a bit, and needs a good tune up. I've been a Ford guy since I was 16 and bought my first Mustang ('69 coupe, wish I still had that one). I've also owned a '70 F100/Ranger with a 460. Well I've rambled on enough, I'm sure I'll have lots of questions as we get to work getting it cleaned up, and running the way we want it.
