My son and I are doing the interior of his 72 Maverick. The car was blue. We are redoing the interior black and was wondering where to get door panels and rear side panels as well as a headliner. I've been keeping an eye on Ebay but haven't found anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I changed my interior from gold to black and it took me a long time to collect all of the black pieces. Keep an eye on Ebay, Craigs List or right here in the classifieds. I bought from all of these sources to complete my interior. Nice black door panels are the toughest to aquire. A black headliner can be bought new from Autokrafters.
isnt the headliner on Auto Krafters website? As for the panels I would recommend painting them because the hunt might take a long time and you don't always get nice pieces. I used bulldog adhesive spray, black paint and it came out just amazing.
There are also folks here that have changed their interior color using paint made special for interior plastic. The stuff is sold by SEM and can be bought at an automotive paint supplier.
