On Saturday i went to the Waterdown swap meet and car show with my daughter. The weather was great and sunny and it was the most packed with show cars that i have ever seen since it moved to the new location. Here's what i saw- One orange 351 Cleveland Maverick owned by Graham (who was at the meet and greet) That same guy selling that same blue 1970 (i think) Maverick with the blue strips. This picture is not from the swap meet but from another swap meet as i didn't bother to take another picture of it . Now the price has been reduced from $2600 to $1300 but it now seems to be missing more bits and pieces then when i took this picture. No drive shaft, rear end, motor, tranny or even wheels. I'm willing to bet that the next time i see this Maverick it will be missing the doors and hood, a shame really. I also picked up this Hotrod Magazine with a trick cover, very cool. I heard that this is the Maverickman's Maverick from a few years ago and that Hotrod Magazine changed the colour of the car for the cover. Am i wrong on this or right? Anyone? Huh? Either way my daughter Samantha and myself had a really good day at the Waterdown car show and swap meet.

If you can make it to Barrie make sure you get there good and early as it's a massive swap meet. If you see any Maverick or Comet parts pick them up for me.......... unless your looking for .........ah, ah, ah parts........... o.k. never mind.
