Should be built in a month. Anyone have a summit part number for headers that will fit?

    408w or 408c?
If it's a Windsor, GET THE CRITES NOW!
They discontinued them right after a few members here confirmed that they fit better than any other Windsor header available for us. They are open for a limited run of the headers due to a member here promising them a large buy. You gotta do it now though. I wish I had the dough, I'd get a set...

If you have a Cleveland, then get Tubular Automotive headers.

If you just have to go through Summit, you will need the Hooker 65-66 Stang 351w headers. Then you need to do a search on the site to see how to mod your car so they fit. Fwiw, these will cost roughly 100 bux more than the Crites. About the same as the Tubulars.

Tubular also carries a 351w header, but it has very small primary tubes. Tubes that would choke a healthy 302, so you know what they'd do to a 408. Plus they are expensive for what they are. Same price as the 351c Tubulars, and the 351w Hookers.

    Good luck
Show us pics when you are done!

    Edit:
    You were asking part numbers...
Hooker 6908s are sold at Summit for 65-70 351w Stangs.
Tubular is ES-7, 2v or 4v added to the number for your appllication.

Call crites and tell them you are part of the maverick/comet forum order. They will fix you up. You will have to prepay for them before they build them or at least that's what we've all been doing. I have been dealing with Jessica there and she has been bending over backwards to help us out.

Great, did you use the Crites headers? Can you tell us some details about the engine combo?
