Sorry to have to tell you this, but you need to learn to live with it. Mavericks are so powerful that even the stock v8 ones lift the front wheels on street tires. I remember that someone of authority posted that way back on here. Or was that diminished capacity.:biglaugh:

you need to refill the blinker fluid and put fresh air in the tires fresh air helps the tires gain superior traction over wornout air

Nice. I almost did that to mine, but that was when my uncle was going to change it to one of those air filters that are like 3 inches across. I actually wanted to do it just for the weirdness of it. to make it better, its a six, so it would've been offset to one side :D

I was wondering how long it would take to reference the "My front wheels keep coming off the ground at stoplights . . ." post.

Now you just need a manly hood ornament to go on top of the air cleaner. How about a panther?

That is an unusual problem, usually taken care of by shipping the drivetrain to me. I will install it so you will no longer have to worry!!!!:thumbs2:

And I tell you what, I will actually pay the shipping. One time offer!

I kind of winced when seeing the angle grinder ... Looks you got the hole in pretty nice shape though.

A jigsaw with a metal-cutting blade works great for cutting out hoods... very easy. If you cover the base in masking tape, it won't scratch the paint. Will leave a very smooth edge if you take your time.

Works great for cutting the tranny tunnel for a shifter too. :thumbs2:

Nice to see your car coming together ... enjoy it.
