Has anyone with a 1970 Maverick had lower control arm fitting issues, ie the control arm rubbing on the frame? If so, what was your solution? The alignment guy showed me where mine was rubbing. I spread it out with a porta-power but I'm sure when I torque it to 75lbs it will squeeze back together. Will putting washers on the inside of the frame cure the problem? Any help will be appreciated. Jerry
Well Jerry, the answer to your problem is to grind the edge of the control arm lip and use the original Maverick cam bolt adjusters as the Mustang bolts have too many threads and causes the frame to pinch in on the control arm. Hope this has been of some help.

Split personality - senility - ??? Scrapper60 is my dad - I see this out of him in person occasionally. What's kind of scarry as I get older - it's starting to happen to me. I don't think it's contagious, but it may be genetic.
