crank kit

    im in need of a new crank for a 351w mine needs to be turned, its gouging the bearing down to the copper. so does anyone got a good crank or know a good place to get a crank kit online? stores?

    You can try Scat...Probe racing industries...Lunati...jegs...summitt...Or talk to a local machine shop that does performance work.They can usually beat most peoples prices on the stuff.Good luck!!!

    thats a good source for Scat stuff.Shop the prices around though you may find the same kit cheaper somewhere else.

    I've got one in the 5.0 in my 89 Ranger. Bought it from Advance Auto Parts. Zero problems with it and it's been subjected to the rigors of a 4 speed and posi rearend for 4 years now.

    oriellys and advanced both have to special order them and don't know the how they have been ground

    have you checked with Eagerods.. they do great bottom end parts... and you can get a really good rotating assembly as well.
