i am looking for an alternative radio antenna to use on my 72 mav. there is not a factory hole in fender for an antenna, and i don't want to cut one. im looking for a glass mounted or maybe hidden antenna.
i've read through a couple threads and it looks like its pretty simple to just mount it under the dash and reception still is good.

I have the Dakota digital glass mounted in front of the rear view mirror. Very happy with it's reception. It works better than the hidden under fender that I had on my mustang. http://www.dakotadigital.com/index....tegory_id=110/home_id=59/mode=prod/prd105.htm
I wish I had that problem. The antenna hole is the one thing I should have filled when we did the body and paint. I didnt even think about it until I was reassembling.
Tom, is it the black box that you have to mount on the glass in front of your rear view mirror? If so, do you have a picture of what it looks like when mounted?
mine is mounted under the dash. Simple, easy and I have had no trouble with reception.....however, hearing it is another story
