Is the Maverick GT the same thing as the Maverick Grabber?

Always wondered this since I never really looked at GTs before. If not, what's their biggest difference between the American and Mexican Mavs? Or is it just a fancy name?

 

I didn't know they had Maverick GT's in Mexico. I know they have them in Brazil.

Funny. I could have sworn you mentioned GT's and then asked the difference between American and Mexican Mavs.

As far as I know the difference in Mexican and American Mavs is that some of the Mexican cars had 289's and 4 speeds.

I beg to disagree, mine does and mexican mavs came with 289 or 302 engines and 4 speed transmissions.....

I do not know, my car is 1400+/- miles from me
But I will remember to get the DSO next time I try to get it to the states.

The question asked, "what's their difference between the American and Mexican Mavs?" "Their" is referring to the Maverick GT. Thus I was asking what's the difference between the GT compared to the Mexican Mavs and the US Mavs. HA!
