just wondering if anyone has ever tried welding to the sway bar or something to make it stronger. just looking for a cheap alternative to buying a new one.

sway bar is made of spring steel. I wouldnt advise putting any heat on it.

Junkyards have used ones. Select Granada's had 7/8" or 15/16" front sway bars. They will bolt into just about any midsized Ford product.

    Prices vary.
