Another Bolt Question

    I see a lot of nice looking gold plated header bolts out there but I have never used anything but plain ol' black header bolts. :hmmm:

    Any good or bad opinions on the plated bolts? :)

    The plating comes of in the first tightening.

    :D Ain't found plated bolts yet that don't shed the plating when wrenches are involved. :hmmm: Wish they'd start making stainless lug nuts for wheels.:thumbs2:

    Use good ARP bolts on those headers and retighten after they warm up.

    Just coat them with antiseize. Get the stuff with copper in it, Good to 2000ยบ.
