Found a deal on a 1977 Maverick, 1977, 302V8, 4 door car. The guy I bought it from bought it to get the running gear out of it to put under his 1950 Ford. I bought it for the front disk brake setup and the A/C for my Comet and noticed when I got it home that it has a MINT dash pad I can use. When I finish getting these items I will list and sell other parts of the car as it is essentially rust free (little bit around rear window is all). Perfect Grill, door panels, looks like new headliner and carpet (needs cleaned), 1 dent on trunk of car is only dent. [IMG]

I would like the rear quarters and the rear end when you get ready to sell other items can come down and cut off

Rearend under the maverick is from the 50 ford so it could be rolled on the trailer, the motor, trans and rearend all went onto the 50 ford.

I like that front plate, must have had some sentimental value to the others owners..maybe you should put it on the front of your Comet GT, just for fun??

I'd try selling it before parting it out. Looks pretty decent. Does it have a title?

I agree with jamie, that four door is nice enough to mean up and build a TJ taxi or something with very little work.

I thought about keeping it as it was in some heavy rains and the cowls seem good (carpet dry) but you can see where there was some rust previously around the back glass and it is coming back and felt a little dampness on the headliner and the headliner looks new, so I am just going to part it as soon as I remove the dash pad, a/c, and disk brakes which hopefully will be in the few weeks or so. At that time if someone wants to buy the whole car I may consider it.
