I believe that for our cars Black Dash pads and Heater control bezels bring in some crazy prices. I have seen 3 dash pads in the last month go for 275$ ,315$ ,368$. E-bay has a heater control bezel selling for 75$ right now. Although no bid on it I did see a wiper turn nob that the seller was asking 150$.

That's my heater control bezel - and I sold 3 other black ones well above $125 - so at $75, so far the bidder is getting a bargain.

There not making anymore of these, and when the ones I have left are gone, there will be a drought of NOS ones anywhere else .......... :)

Although that does seem high, I think rarity plays a big part in prices. Dash pads were hard to find 20 years ago. Just for comparision take a look at Mopar parts prices. They are ridiculous. $1500.00 for a used steering wheel! There was an nos wiring on ebay not long ago for $3500.00 .I also have a 68 Coronet R/T and unless prices go down Im not sure when it will be finished.

Personally I'm very happy with the blue NOS heater bezel you supplied. Think it was just over 50 dollars. Its one of the first things you see when you look in the car and mine was broken and worn. Huge difference with the new one. I spend 50 bucks to go to the movies. Big deal. This piece is one of those parts that is worth the money just like a dash pad.

Oh by the way my car has a perfect black dash pad and it came free with the purchase of the car.:rofl2:

As for the mopar stuff I often get asked why I built a Ford when I work at a Chrysler dealer. Reason being that if I had the same amount of money into a Chrysler as my car it would still be a shell collecting dust in the body shop and I'd be broke.

Thank you Darren - I'm glad I could supply you with a good part! (y)

The blacks seem to always sell the highest. Probably cause the grabber used black ones. The one on ebay right now is the last NOS black I have to sell.

The blues also are top shelf in demand and I think I'm sold out of those now. (y)

Been selling some of my gas caps - standard type, not deluxe. Have a bunch of colors on the heater panels. Tan, brown, dark brown, green, dark red/maroon. Side marker bezels have been doing well lately. And I have some NOS hood hinges coming up in a couple days.

    :yup:
