Well folks been working on the car for the last three days and she is as ready as she can be for this race ,The Grabber is being trailered down tonght around 7 pm for teck at 9 am friday morning at Pacific Raceway ,Kent Washington . Jay Weir of Killer Customs and his crew will be there trying there best. Cliff (grabber71 ) ,you going down today or real early friday morning ,maybe you could hook up with Jay ,there staying in the pits in there motorhome and there would be room for you ,this way we could keep all the mavericks corraled in the pits in one place.. Jimmy ps do you all like the truck lid graphics ,and my sponsers on the quarters. Im going to do a show room paint job on this one next spring so i didnt mind the decals on it for this years pinks .

Cliff is coming down tonight. Should arrive at my place around 8ish. I can't make it tomorrow (Friday). Have to work. I already purchased my tickets for both days (bummer). I'm in the seats behind the burnout area. Looking forward to Saturday.... Good luck to you both.... Lets see a Maverick make it to the 32....

WooHoo!!! I was able to make it today after all. Day one was a blast. Had a great time. Was great to meet Jay. Always great to see Cliff. I got there in time to see both of them do there 2nd run. Both did quicker on the second run. For Jimmy's car, first run was 11.90, his 2nd run was 11.82. His quickest so far. His quickest last Friday @ Mission Raceway, was 11.83. Way to go Jimmy!!!!! (347 stroker)
Cliff was on the mark also. First run was 12.36, 2nd run 12.35. Way to go Cliff!!!! (351w) Both are consistant for sure. Here's a couple of pictures.
Jimmy's car: 1st staging lane, 2nd in front of tower, 3rd burnout box, 4th interior, 5th put away for the nite. Enjoy!!!!

Well i just heard from Jay ,he thanked me for the opportunity to race my car ,he said it was one of the best times he has ever had at the track,as usual pinks chose a 10:00 to 10:50 class . Jay informed me that the car is getting faster and faster on every pass, he made it to the finals in his class with a best time of 11:77. Jay claims the car was leaving so hard he has some pics of the front tires off the ground and he says he would not be suprised if the car made the highlight reel for the wheelie and the very impressive burnouts.Ill be looking forward to seeing Jay at my shop tomorrow around noon as i am putting Bev (Grabbergirl719) engine and tranny in her car tomorrow, cheers Jimmy :HandshakeP.S im very happy that the mavericks made a GREAT showing for our community.
