I will be running a Quick Fuel 650 double pumper carb that does not have provisions for a kickdown lever. I am sure I could just drill a hole and figure it out but wanted to know what other people have done in this situation. I am using factory floor shifter with all hardware attached including locking bar that goes to steering column.

    Lokar makes a cable...
Drilling a hole in the linkage is going to be very difficult because it will have to be able to idl and go wide open throttle. The factory setup is slack until you advance the throttle to about 1/2 way.
(thats why they call it a "kick-down link and not throttle pressure.

Thanks Paul, I should have touched bases about this when I picked up the tranny. Will the lokar setup work the way you set the tranny up for me? The last thing I want to do is show back up at your house with the pretty yellow tranny.

All you need to figure out is a way to fully engage the kickdown lever when the throttle plates open all the way.
